Pet Pals was established in 2006 after the store’s owner, Holly Rodgers, became interested in the natural pet market. “I got sick,” she commented. “I started looking at my own diet, which led me to examine my pets’ diets as well.” After changing their diets, she really saw a difference in her dogs’ overall health. Paige Ormond of Doggy Style entered the pet industry upon deciding it was where she really belonged. “I am a recovering lawyer,” Ormond admits, “I moved from the legal world into the pet industry because I really wanted to work in something I felt passionate about. I’ve always been involved with animals – volunteering for shelters, etc. It just seemed like a natural transition for me.”
